Great size for a retired couple that has a big garden. We usually can put enough vegetables away for the season until next year. Also have room for a couple months of meat.
The lights on the front (power and high temperature) are reassuring. The LED light inside is helpful when digging around the bottom.
Hopefully, GE didn't cut corners on the compressor and it lasts for many years like our old one (it was a hand-me-down from family) which we're guessing was at least 15 years old.
It only got 4 stars because of the longevity question. If it's still going after 5 years, I'd re-rate it a 5 star. We'll see.

I am very happy with my purchase of this freezer. It replaced my 22-year-old GE freezer. I love the light under the lid that comes on when freezer is opened and I love that the lid stays up by itself as opposed to the old one where the lid would fall on my head!! It cooled very quickly and is very quiet. The external temperature controls and "power on" indicator light is very convenient.

The freezer has a large capacity; however, it takes up little room in the garage. There is a power on light on the outside of the case to let you know that the freezer is functioning at a glance. Additionally, the thermostat is located on the outside of the case as well for quick temperature adjustments.

The only complaint I have is the trays up on top, could be at least twice the capacity of what they are now. Other than that, the freezer does it's job very well.

This chest freezer fits perfectly in the space I had for the freezer. It reached freezing temperature very quickly and is very quiet. The interior it is much bigger than other brands. Over all i am very happy with my purchase.

It arrived in good condition and looks to be in good shape. Hope it lasts. Fits in the space in the garage nicely. Good internal space. Nice steel insulation barrier. Lots of room. Simple temperature settings right on the front.

It's a chest freezer. That basically says it all. It stays cold enough. Just plug it in and it works. Only complaint is, the temperature knob says 1-7 but doesn't say which is colder or warmer

When our chest freezer was delivered, we removed the plastic covering the top, and it was scratched. You could only see it when the light shone on it, but I realized that even if you touched it with your fingernail, it will scratch it. Extremely dissatisfied with the top finish. I have just plugged it in, so we'll see if it works. For a $700 purchase, I am disappointed in the quality.

So far works as expected. I can already see the top will be freezing over but it how the chest freezers are. I like the included baskets (there are two) much more convenient as you can move them around and sort what to put in each instead of one big one.
