Tough to clean

The glass cooktop is difficult to clean. No matter what I do it is tough to get rid of pot scratch marks on the textured cooktop surface and fingerprints on the cooktop. The black shiny color highlights every tiny smudge. I am unhappy with this aspect and would have bought a different range had I known of this in advance.

Please, please include user Manuels for all us older customers who don't know how to use in this digital world. I hated my old oven quit working but I had no choice but to purchase new oven/range. Hate that everything has glass tops nowadays and have to look on u tube videos to try to use basic functions. Oven says it self cleans but u tube says don't use because the high heat will melt circuit board so how are we to clean the ovens? If you do have a printed Manuel could you please mail to me? My last GE range lasted for 20 years and it was still working but filaments were getting old. This new GE is wonderful and we use it everyday for stovetop and baking. Controls are easy to set and oven heats up superfast. This is why we picked GE. It's a great range.

I was disappointed to discover there is no delay bake on this range. Even my 20 year old range had this feature. Overall I am pleased with the range performance. The bottom drawer is small and flimsy.

SADLY, we never thought to check the size of the storage drawer. It is SMALLER and my pans no longer fit!!! Who's idea to shrink the drawer. Crisper not needed; drawer is.

Efficient but not good for GF baking.

Great cook top. Heats up quickly and cuts your sautee time by about 1/3. The oven is efficient as well but needs more time to preheat, and is not great for gluten free baking. If you're a GF baker, get the 700 series. I'll be returning the 500 series bc of this.

The surface is difficult to clean and marks appear on the burners quite often. Do not understand why that is, especially when nothing has burnt or overflowed on the burners. These marks rarely come off. The product is not definitely a cheaper model and happy I did not pay any more for it, than I did.

First one exploded after 2mo of use

I wanted a full refund because after using the unit for less thank 3 mo it had a total melt down with arching like welding was going on inside and in fact that is exactly what was happening. Scared the devil out of me. Very very dangerous situation. Then I had super hassles trying to get service or replacement. Took a month and many phone calls to get a replacement. Stove replacement after 25 years

After my 25 year old GE's oven wasn't heating properly We decided to buy a similar GE stove. Hoping this one will be as successful. 1 thing I have an issue with is that the small burners are in the back of range top. Large burners in front of them. Entire top is black so hard to see burners. Old stove was gray with black for burners. I am having some trouble regulating oven temperature.
